It’ll launch on September 14, and those already subscribed to Xbox Live Gold will have their subscriptions automatically converted to the new Xbox Game Pass Core service. These won’t be the only titles available either, as Xbox promise to add new titles ‘2 or 3 times a year’. Xbox has announced that it will be retiring Xbox Live Gold membership to replace it with a new service known as Xbox Game Pass Core from September of this year.Īs per the announcement, the new service will be similar to Xbox Live Gold, including allowing access to multiplayer, but rather than offering 2 new games a month will now offer access to a library “more than 25” first party titles from Xbox first party studios, Bethesda and ‘select partners’.
